From lump of stoneware clay to hand built cup - this process results in one of a kind 4 Leg Belly Cups. I make this form in a variety of clay bodies and decorations. My process uses underglaze, carving, and mark making processes. Each cup takes approximately 2 hours from start to finish. My work is bisque fired to 1000c over 12 hours with 32 hour cool down, Glaze fire is 13 hours approx with 40 hour cool down, generally I allow 5 days for the firing process.
